Hi Eleanor! I didn't know you were a regular reader. Thanks for the comment - I had no idea we had so much in common =)... I'd love to hear what you're up to, did you go to the UK?

Big Irv - yes, let's talk recipes and do a book trade - great idea.

Danielle,

I didn't know you had a thing for cookbooks. I have couple I think you would really enjoy. Maybe you could share a few fashion/apparel books with me.

Hope you had a great brunch.

Hee, Danielle. Sometimes you post things that could be straight out of my own life... I used to bake cookies from Food That Really Schmecks with my Mum when I was little! I think my favourite recipe was from her second title, More Food That Really Schmecks, but I can't for the life of me remember what it was. (Got the same sense of deja vu from your pre-Christmas post on Hamish Macbeth... I too was raised on a steady diet of BBC series recycled by TVO... but my personal favourites were The Darling Buds of May and the constant rerunning of the 1975 movie Ballet Shoes.)

It's great to catch up with what you're doing on the blog, it's on my morning must-read list. Hope you're having a good brunch!
