Sometimes you post things that could be straight out of my own life... I used to bake cookies from Food That Really Schmecks with my Mum when I was little! I think my favourite recipe was from her second title, More Food That Really Schmecks, but I can't for the life of me remember what it was. (Got the same sense of deja vu from your pre-Christmas post on Hamish Macbeth... I too was raised on a steady diet of BBC series recycled by TVO... but my personal favourites were The Darling Buds of May and the constant rerunning of the 1975 movie Ballet Shoes.)
