Welcome to Click Click, the regular roundup of what I find worth clicking on the internet.
- I was listening to Q on CBC Radio (Canada’s public broadcaster) and I enjoyed the interview with Moby (about a third of the way in) about his album, Wait for Me. Here is the video for his single, Shot in the Back of the Head, directed by David Lynch. Moby talked about pursuing creativity without seeking approval, a theme I have found interesting in other interviews lately (especially Ricky Gervais on The Hour).
- Did you know that there is a “Shedosphere” of blogs devoted entirely to the world of sheds? I’ve been working on some small buildings lately and was delighted to discover that there really is a blog for everything – Shedworking.
- The Holt Renfrew Fashion Blogger Windows were unveiled on friday. See pictures on the press release, and check out the street party in honour of the I want – I got window.
- On the subject of knowing where your shopping dollars go, Miss Elle reveals the politics behind some of the more popular hipster retailers.
Toronto-centric stuff -
- Frugal Fashion Week is coming to Toronto on July 23-26 with a mandate to “promote economic growth by encouraging consumers to spend while saving”.
- Fashion Crimes shares a little bit of history about Queen Street West before the boutiques.
… and of course the weekly edition of Fashion Blog Karma, appreciation for all my new incoming linkers and commenters!
- Briony Smith is a freelance fashion writer based in Toronto.
- divine.ca is a Canadian online magazine for women.
- Neil Alexander Watson is an illustrator with a passion for pencils.
Have a grand Canada Day!
