Welcome to Click Click, the regular roundup of what I find worth clicking on the internet.
- Fashion illustration links. Giles Deacon note cards. Yes City Girl resolves a less bitchy 2009. Silvery and swirly graphite girls by Laura Laine. Julia Breckenreid’s blog pour moi. Leyendecker and the model for the Arrow Collar Man. Mixed media at FashionRip.
- The City is a television sugar high for me – it has the New York location, the fashion industry milieu, and despite a vacuous lead the supporting cast looks promising for entertainment on and off the television. Tuning into a renewed interest in socialites as well as a Toronto connection.
- Stories on stage on a podcast on The Moth.
- Design love on Swiss Miss.
- Literary voyeurism on Toronto transit at Seen Reading.
- Niall Ferguson’s Ascent of Money is a terrific television series about the history of money, it is like an entertaining university course.
- Ira Basen’s Spin Cycles is a terrific work of radio journalism about the history of public relations.
- And if that’s too much heavy media for you, take a crash course in modern hipstory at Hipster Runoff.
- More fashion blog Karma! Fellow PRC fan Fashion in Motion. Modern Guilt is dead, So for the time being… what is the story here? DJ Vaneska brings a curatorial eye to her blog Bif!Bam!Pow!Zap! Fashion PR girl Melissa drops The F-Word.

Love the blogging increase, brightens my evening to see a new post pop up in my inbox. Yay!
Thank you so much for the mention!
I’m hyped for Season 2 of Project Runway Canada- can’t wait for some good new designer tv.
What are your thoughts about Stylista?
- Johanne
serah-marie – thanks for the appreciation! Its nice to see so much encouragement and some lively feedback on the blog, feels like Final Fashion is coming back to life and makes me want to keep going with it.
Johanne – my pleasure! Looking forward to lots of blogging about PRC2. Stylista – its brutal. I wasn’t too pleased with any of the top contestants, but watched it to the end anyway.
Ya, I had to keep watching it too since I’m interested in the project, but I fast-forwarded the bickering. I’ve never seen so many drama queens on reality tv (then again, I don’t watch much tv…) These people made the girls on America’s Next Top Model look like bffs.

I love that you are updating daily!!! Keeps me going!!
Thanks for the link love Danielle!!! I also enjoy watching The City LOL. It’s totally a guilty pleasure for me though haha!
Hi Danielle,
Thank you for posting fashionRIP blogspot. Did you see the video “Species on the Verge” on youtube? The dresses are recyCouture and the crew, artists and models all volunteered as this was below low budget! I hope to get the installation up soon, but people hear fashion think catwalk and ….well new ideas are hard to communicate.
Anyway onto chapter 2 (Social Justice) and any ideas for showing space or funding appreciated.
Liking the Doc Martens illustration and anxious to see your portfolio,
so muy gracias
