- The Contemporary Wardrobe – a lovely photo memoir by vintage clothing archivist Roger Burton charting his unique professional life in fashion, including some spectacular casual footage of Westwood and McLaren chatting about their work.
- Hitler Has a Following in India – further to the topic Viv & Malcom were nattering on about, the peculiar fashion afterlife of Western history’s most reviled villain continues in new contexts.
- How eBay Became a Fast-Fashion Graveyard – when a high-street collaboration hits the free market, it reveals just how much intangible value there really is in a designer’s name.
- Brianne Garcia – via It’s OK, this intrepid young woman was brave enough to reveal her fashion entrepreneurial failure in real time, and then transform the experience into a new career. Inspiring.
- Why The Art World is So Loathsome – the ever-erudite Simon Doonan posits eight theories on why this generation is getting the art it deserves. In case you require further disillusionment: Exit Through The Gift Shop.
Constant karma…
- The Blue Bookcase – “The book review blog for bookish people”
- Finishing School – “Manners are sexy.”
- Thessalonista – “I m not evil. I just know the plot.”
