Fashion Illustrated features a weekly illustration created especially for Final Fashion.

This week I am fulfilling a request made months ago by one of my favourite bloggers, Up and Down Town. She asked me to draw her, based on her charming autobiographical illustrated story blog. It is all about a stylish young mother who lives in the city, and she draws it in a lovely naive style with particular attention to the outfits. This is my version of the editor and her daughter, in my own style.

i don’t know what to say…
i … i don’t remember ever making such a request (and it’s really not my style to do so) but regardless, what a total honor. i’m sort of speechless.

sorry for the initial confusion danielle – originally i really meant that i would like to look like your drawings, not that i wanted your drawings to look like me.

editor – So pleased that it is well received by both subjects! It never occurred to me to interpret your comment the other way, I felt rather slow for taking so long to do the drawing. Funny =)

Anthea – Quite envious of your Tokyo trip! Will definitely check out your photos. Not going to NYC for fashion week this year but will be in town for Toronto… hope you will be too!
