The scrappers at 69 Vintage Buy the Pound regularly put on rad DIY events that even the brokest fashion student can afford.  This one has got my competitive spirit up – I think I may have to go throw down.

69 Vintage is having an old-fashioned fashion throwdown, with a $200~ prize going to the wildest, most creative and most original remade entry.

Location is 1234 Bloor St. W. Date is May 1 2009. Doors will open at 8pm, and cover is $5 or PWYC. Funds raised at the door will all go to Change for the Environment, a fundraising initiative that raises money for tree planting in Ontario. We are also a donation location from April 30th until May 3rd.
