Just a note: I originally had a line about Phillip Bloch which included a jab about a poorly concealed hairpiece. Phillip Bloch himself found it on Google Alerts and sent me the following correction:

<blockquote>"FYI, I don't wear a hairpiece and have never worn a hairpiece (although I did do a movie where I had to wear a wig because they wanted my hair longer than I could grow it in the small amount of time I was given). In actuality, I use a colored hairspray called FULLMORE. It's an amazing product for those of us in the media. As you know, with the bright lights, you can often see through hair and it looks thinner especially on camera. I hate that effect - especially on the new HD screens! As I have wild curly hair and always have, it's a choice I've chosen to make. Rather than having my hair look thin and piece-y on camera, I think this is a wise suggestion for men or women in the industry that want to add a certain texture or density under the bright lights without bothering with a wig, toupee, or extensions. I am only telling you this because I would hate for you to look like an idiot dispersing wrong information. After all, when doing my telecasts on CNN, E!, VH1, or any of the other channels I work for regularly, I make sure I have my information correct before I report it. I'm sure you would have something really nasty to say if I reported that Gwenyth Paltrow looked horrific in her Alexander McQueen when she was really wearing Oscar de la Renta or that Cate Blanchett looked ridiculous in her Dior when she was actually wearing Dries Van Noten."</blockquote>

For being bitchy and wrong, I am truly sorry.
