I have a material desire: a Canada Goose parka.

The Resolute: ultimate function, uncompromising in what it is for.

Canada Goose makes stuff that’s a little more urban too, the Trillium is quite nice:

But it doesn’t have the same kind of singularity as the Resolute.

I have an abiding love for things that have this kind of essence; things that are original. I don’t mean original as in a haute couture creation. I mean a style that stands as the definitive manifestation of a garment. Like the Levis 501, or the Doc Marten 1460.

I’ll get the Resolute 8501. In black.

    5. Okay, so to be honest, I dont’t love it…but congrats on finding a winter coat. I am currently in search for a great winter coat… but I am having a very hard time finding anything original and fun, but I will keep looking.

I guess it’s more shopping for me. :)

    6. Oh Danielle, you’re a hell of a lot more original than H&M. :) I tried to play down that fact that it was actually a school bus trip and we only had limited time at each place. Lame, I know!

    8. Go for the Resolute. Mine is 12 years old and still looks like new. Even a Man’s looks flattering on a Lady.
