Hey Danielle!

This was a great recap! I wondered what would come of that panel after you told us about it at lunch. Now I know!

I agree with your thoughts on how the individual brand is becoming more important in social media vs. a corporate brand or masthead. I see it in my own sphere of work and also as a blogger.

I agree with your thoughts about the speakers. I thought Cherie was very genuine and gave great advice about translating you and your business online. She has an amazing personality and it was nice to meet her in person.

Dr. Palmer gave a very intelligent speech but yes it was difficult to see the line between her history-based talk and social media and it was very thin. Although it was nice to learn the history of the armhole.

I was really impressed with Lisa Tant's speech. I feel that she understands the power of social media and how to use it. She was also very honest - I've never heard a higher-up admit to leaking images. I think if she continues to work with social media readers will be attracted to her personal voice and therefore to Flare. It'll be interesting to see how she grows with social media
