what I wear – London Fog coat

My Nana gave me this knee-length London Fog coat. It is a bit big on me but as Jacquieshambles told me, oversized is a good thing, especially if you roll up the sleeves.
Nana is a very tiny lady so the sleeves had already been shortened too much for me anyways. Still, just in case I don’t want to roll up the sleeves, I re-altered the cuffs to be a bit longer by changing the rolled hem to a facing… and I used a contrast plaid for the facing.

Now why would I ever want to roll the sleeves down?

I applaud your inventiveness and your heritage
Looks good on you!!! I hem these puppies all the time – anywhere from six -10 inches off for a mini-trench!
Plus you can always accessorize with long opera gloves or arm warmers!! :)
lookin’ good! I stand by my over-sized sleeve-rolling obsession!
